The rural route takes you through villages, vineyards, breathtaking views and some of the most scenic countryside in Umbria.

This experience is a must if you love walking at more than a leisurely pace and viewing beautiful scenery.

We propose 3 different destinations for the hiking tours:

Trekking to Monte Pacciano it is a 3 hours walks in the hill of Monte Pacciano near the farmhouse “la volpe e l’uva” where you hav accommodation. Along the path you will see the remains of the Perugia’s Medieval aqueduct. From the top you can see a part of the Apennines, the Middle Tiber valley, Monte Subasio and all of Perugia.
Trekking of the Ancient Roman Aqueduct
It is about 5 km walk at a height of almost 300 meters, from where you can admire the entire valley below Foligno and some views of the marvellous Spello.
The aqueduct is on the slopes of Mount Subasio, along the side of the stream Chiona: part below the castle of Collepino at an altitude of about 456 meter up to arrive at the entrance to the historical center of Spello at an altitude of about 300 meter.
Trekking around the Trasimeno lake: A collection of trails for hiking for those who want an active holiday in Umbria. Discover the cultural itineraries through churches and museums that surround Lake Trasimeno.
